Dr. Jerome Supple was Southwest Texas State University’s (now Texas State University) eighth president from 1989-2002. Collection largely consists of awards and artifacts, with a small amount of personal papers, photographs, and collected clippings.
John Garland Flowers papers
John Garland Flowers became the third president of Southwest Texas State Teachers College in 1942; he held this position for twenty-two years until his retirement in August 1964. The Flowers papers document his professional activities during the years of his presidency, including topics related to his administrative duties as a college president and his leadership role in education at both state and national levels.

Latino Presence at Texas State University-San Marcos: Celebrating 100 Years was a series of projects and events in 2006 led by the College of Liberal Arts and its Center for Multicultural and Gender Studies. Collection contains planning and research materials, as well as printed ephemera related to the events.
LBJ 100 Celebration Records
Collection consists of planning materials for the events and the oral history project commemorating Lyndon Baines Johnson's 100th birthday (often referred to as LBJ 100). Most of the materials were created by members of the LBJ Centennial Celebration Steering Committee and overlapped with the Common Experience at Texas State University.
LBJ 100 Oral History Project Interviews
Materials consist of digital audio and written trancripts of oral history interviews from 2008; printed copies of transcripts are included in the box.
Lyndon Baines Johnson collection
LBJ-MLK crossroads project collection
Just south of Texas State University sits the only known intersection named after both Lyndon B. Johnson (LBJ) and Martin Luther King, Jr. (MLK). The LBJ-MLK Crossroads Project culminated in a physical memorial installed in San Marcos, Texas in January 2014. This collection contains records regarding the creation and completion of the memorial.

Lucy P. Atkinson home economics student notebooks
This collection contains two student notebooks completed for Southwest Texas State Normal School home economics courses. The notebooks consist primarily of handwritten notes, printed lessons and diagrams, as well as the samples of textiles, practice stitches and seams.

The Lyndon Baines Johnson Distinguished Lecture Series honors the Texas State University's most distinguished alumnus by fulfilling his promise to bring important leaders to the university to share their philosophies and experiences. Records of individual lectures may include transcripts, videorecordings, press releases, invitations, programs, and photographs.
McGehee Family Aquarena Springs collection
The collection consists of materials related to the Mill Tract and Aquarena Springs property, including a bound abstract of title to A.B. Rogers (founder of the Spring Lake/Aquarena Hotel), research and documentation used to apply for a Texas Historical Marker. Also included are clippings and fliers about the Aquarena hotel.
Merry Kone FitzPatrick papers
Merry Kone FitzPatrick (1921–1996) was a Southwest Texas State Teachers College (now Texas State University) alumna and long time faculty member in the History Department. This collection contains papers regarding a chapter written by Merry K. FitzPatrick for the book "Texas Cities and the Great Depression". It also includes FitzPatrick's work with the Texas County Records Inventory Project.
